JOKING MENTORSHIP: Available during both intensives, to jokers who are ready to go deeper.
We are offering experienced, diverse jokers supported mentorship through experiential engagement within each IN-Justice Training Intensive.
A lot of Theatre of the Oppressed training focuses more on the "what" (learning the methods) than the "how" (embedding social justice in the process). Our mentorship is designed to fill that void.
This opportunity is ideal for jokers who feel stuck between "learning" and "doing". It's one challenge to learn the work. It's another to develop the confidence to do the work.
Mentorship will happen through active engagement in the intensive. Individualized time will be spent with you on unpacking our methodology and approach, and guiding you through it's applications to your own practice. Opportunities will be offered to practice joking in a supportive environment, during the intensive. A long-term commitment will be made to providing ongoing advisory supports for your future social justice work.
If you are registering for this joking mentorship, expect to have an "intake" interview with us to co-design an individualized learning plan and process that works for you.
