THE PURPOSE:  Arts ExCHANGE is about tapping into each other's earned knowledge, holding each other up against inequity and strengthening one others' social justice capacity.

Our IN-Justice intensives offer a rare and dynamic opportunity for diverse agents of change to recharge our passions.

A need exists to reposition equity work as the domain of those most deeply impacted: Members of the marginalized classes.

While all social justice work is relevant and necessary, we want to open-up possibilities to
make change in ways that disrupt the neoliberal hierarchies that have displaced the potency of the grassroots.

The purpose of each training is therefore to increase the capacity and confidence of diverse agents of change to . . .
  1. Allow imagination to guide innovation;
  2. Trust the knowledge of equity-seeking communities;
  3. Forge collective paths forward, toward common social justice causes; and
  4. Engage in cross-cultural solidarity and reciprocal collaboration, from the bottom-up.
